As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Christchurch team. We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded, and ready to take the next step in their career while helping deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead cost management delivery on major commercial projects, providing trusted advice to clients and reporting to an Associate Director or Director.
  • Prepare and review project budgets, feasibility studies, cost plans, and drawdown certification reports across all design stages.
  • Manage payment claims, variations, cost reporting, progress claims, and final accounts with a strong commercial focus.
  • Develop and review detailed estimates using CostX and first-principles estimating methodologies.
  • Analyse and interpret financial data across multiple projects to support client and lender decision-making.
  • Attend and contribute to client, design, site, funding, and project control group meetings while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 4 years in New Zealand.
  • PQS consultancy experience.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand construction processes, contracts, and industry practices.
  • Proven stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and strong alignment with our collaborative, values-driven culture.
